Set sail with Captain Jerry Driftwood, the most relaxed pirate
ever to command the high seas. Known simply as "Captain Jerry"
to his crew, he’s more interested in calm breezes and a good mug
of grog than in shouting orders or plundering at full speed. By
his side --- often literally in the wrong place at the wrong time
--- is Jerome Swabbington, a well-meaning but hopelessly clueless
sidekick whose understanding of piracy begins and ends with
"don't fall overboard."
Adding more intrigue (and
entertainment) to life aboard the ship is Isabel, a daring and
sharp-witted pirate who just happens to be Captain Jerry's
openly acknowledged romantic partner. The crew doesn't mind --- in
fact, their playful banter has become one of the most popular
spectacles on deck. Together, this group of pirates proves that
pirate adventures don't always have to be cutthroat... sometimes
they can be just plain funny.
